Eye of the Beholder is the new novel by UEA alumna Emma Bamford and is published by Simon & Schuster this week. Emma graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2020, having previously worked as a journalist for The Independent, the Daily Express, the Daily Mirror, Sailing Today, and Boat International. Her memoir Casting Off: How a City Girl Found Happiness on the High Seas was published in 2014 and was followed in 2016 by Untie the Lines: Setting Sail and Breaking Free. Her debut novel Deep Water was published by Simon & Schuster in the UK and Scout Press in the USA in 2022.
