Lagan & Derelict a novel in progress by UEA alumna Jessica (Jess) Worsdale was shortlisted for the Bath Novel Award, an international prize for unagented emerging writers. Jess (pictured) graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2023. Lagan & Derelict previously listed for the 2024 Discoveries Prize, was a finalist in the 2023 Mslexia Novel Competition, and was awarded mentoring support from Arts Council NI and the Irish Writers’ Centre.ica
