‘The Pope’s Head’ a short story by UEA alumna Linden Hibbert received an honourable mention for The Cincinnati Review’s Robert and Adele Schiff Awards. Linden (pictured) completed the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2020 and recently completed the PhD in Creative and Critical Writing. She is working on two projects of connected short stories, one around myths and sculpture and a second around a dynasty of real late-Saxon women at the time of the Norman conquest. She is a recipient of an Escalator award and her first novel was longlisted for the Mslexia Novel award.
