The Day of the Roaring is the debut novel by UEA alumna Nina Bhadreshwarand is published by Harper Collins this week. Nina is a graduate of King’s College and graduated from the UEA MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) in 2022. She has been a journalist in England, Scotland and California since 1991 and spent twelve years in high school teaching in the UK and three in California. She has written one non-fiction novel and several biographies for media publications. She has also been a stand-up comedian, muralist and illustrator. The Day of the Roaring won the Little Brown’s UEA Crime Fiction award, and an early excerpt of it was published with us in 2022 and can be read here.
