Øhrstrøm, Louise
Louise Øhrstrøm was born in Copenhagen in 1981. Her first novel, After Raisin (Efter Rosinen, EC Edition), came out in Denmark in 2010 and won the Munch Christensens Kulturlegat, a prize for the best Danish debut of the year. Louise works as a freelance translator and has translated Julian of Norwich's Showing of Love from Middle English into Danish (Kærlighedens åbenbaring, Boedal 2010). She is currently doing a PhD on Julian of Norwich at UEA while working on her second novel.
