Blanchard, Gill

Gill Blanchard is a historical biographer, professional genealogist and house historian. She has three guides published by Pen and Sword Books and a biography of a 1830s scandal due out. She is writing a biography of parliamentarian Vice-Admiral Sir John Lawson. A staunch republican, once imprisoned by Cromwell for radicalism, he switched sides in 1660 and helped change the course of history.
