ANTOINETTE FAWCETT is a literary translator from Dutch to English. She was educated at the Universities of St. Andrews, Durham, Lancaster and East Anglia, where she was awarded a PhD in Literary Translation.  Antoinette has translated for a number of literary publishers, as well as for the British Film Institute, the Dutch Foundation for Literature and the Holland Festival. Her translation Bird Cottage by Eva Meijer (Pushkin Press, 2018) was shortlisted for the 2019 Vondel Prize. Recent publications of her translations include Shocked Earth, by Saskia Goldschmidt, The Limits of My Language, by Eva Meijer (Pushkin Press, 2021), and Bigger than the Facts (Arc Publications, 2020), by the Dutch poet Jan Baeke. photo c.
