New Writing

Lynda Williams was born in Norwich and has lived in Cadiz, Spain and Baltimore, USA. Her short film Grace (2010) was commissioned by the UK Film Council and screened nationally and internationally including The Short Film Corner, Cannes Film Festival. Grace was also selected for the Best of British showcase at Encounters Film Festival (2010). Whilst studying for her M.A Scriptwriting at UEA, she was awarded the Skillset Bursary for New Writers.   Since 2009, Lynda has provided web content for LOCOG – London Olympics 2012 website Get Set. She has also written film scripts for Barnados and Anglian Water.   She likes digital fiction and was scriptwriter for Changed (2011), an innovative piece for I-Pad. Her feature film script was developed by script editors in 2011 from The Script Factory and The National Film and Television School.  She is currently developing new film, TV and digital fiction projects from her office in Norwich.
