Victoria Maitland is a second-year undergraduate. Known best for being very curly, she is also Norfolk born and bred, as well as being the current secretary to the university’s Creative Writing Society. It is unclear whether any of these facts are related. In her free time she works with children aged 4-16, and was recently told she was better than a kangaroo – possibly her best compliment to date. She also manages a book blog, and her tags, hauls and reviews can be found over at cupcakeclassics.wordpress.com. ‘The Last House as Kinnaird Head’ was inspired by listening to her grandfather’s stories about his childhood in the fishing town of Fraserbugh.
