New Writing

Lauren Mooney is a writer, theatre producer and dramaturg. She was David Higham Scholar on the Creative Writing MA at UEA. She co-runs Kandinsky, a devised theatre company, and has worked with them at theatres including New Diorama London, Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester, the Schaubühne in Berlin and the Schauspielhaus in Vienna. Kandinsky’s plays Trap Street and Dinomania are published by Salamander Street. She has also written about arts and culture for Exeunt, The Stage and The Guardian, and worked for two years in the literary team at Clean Break Theatre Company, where she co-edited their monologue collection Rebel Voices (Methuen, 2019).
