

Katharine Norbury graduated from the University of Hull in English and History of Art before training as a film editor with the BBC. She has worked extensively in film and television drama. She is a recent graduate of the MA in Prose Fiction at UEA (2013) and a doctoral candidate at Goldsmiths. The Fish Ladder, which combines nature writing, travelogue and personal memoir, was published by Bloomsbury on 12th February. Prior to publication Katharine was chosen as the Observer rising star in non-fiction for 2015. She lives between London and Pen Llyn with her family.
