Amanda Hodes
Amanda Hodes is a writer and sound artist. She received her MA in Creative Writing from UEA and is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Virginia Tech. Her work has been recognized by the Arts Club of Washington, Sound Scene Festival, Koster Foundation, and elsewhere. Poems are forthcoming in the anthologies, This Is What America Looks Like (Washington Writers’ Publishing House, 2021) andRewilding: An Ecopoetic Anthology (Crested Tit Collective, 2020). Her poetry explores feminine performativity, the fashion-beauty complex, reparative writing, and structures of silencing.
