Charlotte Lee

Charlotte Lee is a 12th-grade student at Concordia International School Hanoi with a strong interest in storytelling across different media. Originally from the United States, she moved overseas to Vietnam at a young age and has lived there ever since. She enjoys writing poetry, screenplays, short stories, creative nonfiction, and more. She often finds inspiration from a wide range of sources, including daily life and experiences growing up abroad as well as the books and films she engages with. Her poem, “swipe”, was awarded second place in the UEA Young Writer Award Writing Competition (Southeast Asia Chapter), and she is excited to have her work published. Outside of writing, Charlotte enjoys spending time with friends, playing guitar, reading, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, and more. In the future, she hopes to continue studying literature and is looking forward to pursuing writing at university in any and all forms.
