JM Burgoyne
JM Burgoyne is originally from Hertfordshire, but moved to Norwich in 2002 to study American Literature with Creative Writing at UEA. After her BA she did an MA – called ‘Studies in Fiction’ – in modern and experimental literature. Since graduating, she has spent almost twenty years doing a wide variety of jobs – admin, teaching, tutoring, community filmmaking, journalism for BBC Look East and BBC Radio Norfolk, plus volunteering for various Norwich charities, and in places like Ethiopia and The Jungle in Calais. She has also, of course, written one novel, and has several others in various states of (un)completion.
