New Writing

Meng Jin is the author of the novel Little Gods, a New York Times Editor’s Choice and longlisted for the PEN Open Book Award. Her work has appeared in magazines including Vogue, Threepenny Review, Ploughshares, and in the anthologies Best American Short Stories and Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses. A Kundiman fellow, she has received support from the Steinbeck Fellowship, the David TK Wong Fellowship at UEA, the Elizabeth George Foundation, and elsewhere. She is currently at work on a collection of short fictions titled Self Portrait with Ghost, and a novel, Mothers and Girls: A Fake Memoir, for which she received a 2021 Creative Capital Award.
