Michael Egan grew up in Liverpool. He’s a teacher, novelist and poet. Michael’s poems have appeared in Glasgow Review, Prototype and The Fortnightly Review. His first poetry collection, Steak & Stations, was published by Penned in the Margins in 2011. In 2021 he was awarded the UEA Booker Prize Foundation Scholarship to study for an MA in creative writing and he gained a distinction. His first novel, Circles a Clover was published by Everything with Words in 2021. Runner Hawk is his debut for YA.
