Pratap Bhanu Mehta

Pratap Bhanu Mehta is a Professor of Political Science and former Vice-Chancellor of Ashoka University. He was a member of the Prime Minister of India’s National Knowledge Commission and president of the Centre for Policy Research, a New Delhi-based think tank, and has taught political theory at Harvard and Jawaharlal Nehru University. He writes extensively on intellectual history, political theory, law and world affairs, and is the recipient of the Infosys Prize, the Adisheshiah Prize and the Amartya Sen Prize.
