

Rachel Cusk
Rachel Cusk was born in Canada in 1967 and is the author of ten novels: Saving Agnes (1993), which won the Whitbread First Novel Award, The Temporary (1995), The Country Life (1997), which won a Somerset Maugham Award, The Lucky Ones (2003), which was shortlisted for the Whitbread Novel Award, In the Fold (2005), Arlington Park (2006), which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize, The Bradshaw Variations (2009), and the trilogy Outline (2014), Transit (2017) and Kudos (2018). Her non-fiction books are A Life’s Work: On Becoming A Mother (2001), The Last Supper: A Summer In Italy (2009), Aftermath: On Marriage And Separation (2012), and Coventry: Essays (2019). In 2003 she was chosen as one of Granta‘s Best of Young British Novelists.
