‘From the Belly of the Cat’ is a new anthology of feline-themed Singaporean short stories edited by current UEA Creative Writing student, Stephanie Ye, and will be launched at the Singapore Writers Festival today. Stephanie joined the UEA Prose Fiction MA this year, and is the author of ‘The Billion Shop’, a chapbook of four linked short stories published in 2012. Her work has appeared in journals in Singapore and elsewhere, including Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, Esquire, and the Southeast Asian Review of English and Mascara Literary Review. She is an honorary fellow in writing of the University of Iowa via the International Writing Program.
