‘Barcelona’, a long short story by UEA writer Philip Langeskov, has just been published as a limited edition by Daunt Books. Philip was born in Copenhagen in 1976. He graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose) at UEA in 2009, when he was that year’s recipient of the David Higham Award, and recently completed his PhD in Creative & Critical Writing under the supervision of Amit Chaudhuri and Giles Foden. He is now a full-time tutor in Creative Writing at UEA. His stories have previous appeared in a number of publications, including Bad Idea Magazine, The Decadent Handbook, Five Dials and ‘The Best British Short Stories 2011’, edited by Nicholas Royle. ‘Barcelona’ can be purchased here.
