‘Randall’ is the first novel by UEA alumnus Jonathan Gibbs and is published by Galley Beggar Press today. Jonathan (pictured) graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA in 2009 and completed his PhD in Creative and Critical Writing in 2014. He has taught for the past three years on the undergraduate Creative Writing programme at UEA and in 2012 was awarded a Graduate Teacher Prize. His short story, ‘The Story I’m Thinking Of’, was shortlisted for the inaugural White Review Short Story Prize in 2013, and he is a frequent book reviewer for the Independent, the Financial Times, the Daily Telegraph and the Times Literary Supplement. ‘Randall’ will be launched at The Book Hive in Norwich at 6.30 on 27th June.
