Dear Evelyn is the new novel by UEA alumna Kathy Page and is published by And Other Stories this week. Kathy graduated from the MA in Creative Writing in 1988 and is the author of seven novels, including The Story of My Face, which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize in 2002, and Alphabet, which was shortlisted for Canada’s Governor General’s Award in 2005, and as well as three collections of short stories: As In Music (1990), Paradise and Elsewhere (2013), and The Two of Us (2016), which was nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. In 2012 she co-edited with Lynne van Luven, a collection of personal essays about the human body. Kathy has lived in British Columbia in Canada since 2001.
