Future and Form is the flagship project of the fiftieth anniversary of the UEA Creative Writing programme and features collaborative projects involving UEA alumni Ayòbámi Adébáyò, Mona Arshi, Tash Aw (pictured), Imogen Hermes Gowar, Mitch Johnson and James McDermott. They will work with UEA faculty, creative technologists, cultural organisations and schools to explore the relationship between contemporary literature and creative technology. Investigating the questions ‘What will writing look like in 50 years?’ and ‘What role will authors play in the future?’, the resulting work will be exhibited in a series of virtual and physical installations in May 2021. More information about Future and Form, and details of the progress of the projects, can be found on the newly launched website: https://futureandform.net.
