She-Clown, and Other Stories, the debut short story collection by UEA alumna Hannah Vincent, has been longlisted for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize, which is worth £10,000 to the winner. It was published in 2020 by Myriad Editions. Hannah is a novelist and playwright. She graduated from UEA in 1987 with a BA in Drama and English and has previously published two novels, Alarm Girl (Myriad 2014) and The Weaning (Salt 2018). She teaches Creative Writing on the Open University’s MA and Life Writing on the Autobiography and Life Writing programme at New Writing South. The shortlist for the Edge Hill Prize will be announced by September, and the winner in November.
