Gaslight is the new novel by UEA alumnus Femi Kayode and is published by Raven Books this week. It is the follow-up to his acclaimed debut, Lightseekers (2021), picked as a Book of the Month by the Times, Sunday Times, Independent, Guardian, Observer, Financial Times and Irish Times. Femi graduated from the MA in Crime Fiction at UEA in 2018, when he was the recipient of the Little, Brown UEA Crime Writing Prize. He has worked for the last twenty years in advertising, during which time was was also a Packard Gates Fellow in Film at the University of Southern California and a Gates Fellow in International Health at the University of Washington. He has also written and developed several award-winning TV dramas. Lightseekers is the first in a series of novels and has also been published in numerous countries around the world. Femi lives in Namibia with his wife and two sons.
