Two UEA alumni have been longlisted for the Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize. Max Lury (pictured), who graduated from the MA (Prose Fiction) in 2021, is nominated for his story ‘Santa Fe’; and Rabia Kapoor, who graduated from the MA (Prose Fiction) in 2022, is nominated for her story ‘The Perils of Sleeping on Your Back’. The prize’s shortlisted authors will each receive £200, and the winner will receive £2500. The shortlist will be announced on 16 February, and the winner will be revealed on 8 March.
