

Professor Kevin Brophy has had eleven books published. He is a poet, fiction writer, and essayist. He teaches Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. He was founding editor of the Australian national literary journal, Going Down Swinging in 1980, and has had his poetry included in many major national anthologies. In 2009 he was awarded the Calibre Prize for an outstanding essay. At UEA he has been completing a collection of prose poems to be published in August 2012, and working towards a 'new and selected' to be published in 2013.
