

Eveleigh, Lisa
Lisa Eveleigh read English and American Literature at the University of Durham. She worked as a BBC researcher before becoming a literary agent at A P Watt. Authors she then worked with include Michael Holroyd, Jan Morris and Frederic Raphael. She was the first to discover the talents of Philip Kerr, Helen Dunmore, and Joseph O’Connor. Lisa now runs her own boutique agency, Richford Becklow, and a digital imprint, The Paris Press. She began the MA in Biography and Creative Non Fiction at UEA to explore new approaches to biography and screen-writing, for both professional and personal reasons. To coincide with the Waterloo bicentenary in 2015, she published Beauty and Chivalry, a short book about The Duchess of Richmond’s Ball.
