
Slack, Ade
Ade Slack studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Middlesex University. He began his professional career with work at the Camden People’s Theatre, The Finborough Theatre and the Victorian Theatre at Alexandra Palace. He went on to become the course leader for vocational performance training at City College Norwich. Since 2009 he has been artistic director / writer for Second Side Theatre, creating and performing work at venues such as the Old Red Lion Theatre, Latitude Festival and at theatre’s in the Eastern Region. His writing covers the mediums of Theatre, Radio and Television. He has been commissioned by Festival Republic, RADA, The Drama Centre London, The University of Westminster, Screen South, BBC, Menagerie Theatre and Cambridge University. Ade has recently completed an MA in Scriptwriting at the University of East Anglia, as well as completing his first full length play, Rat. Ade likes to explore issues around mental health, justice and rehabilitation. Can humans be fixed?
