Alison Falconer worked in journalism and PR before starting to write scripts. She authored two non-fiction books before her first short play, Sweet Sixteen, was produced at the John Clare Theatre in Peterborough. She wrote the play, Prosperity Three, for her MA dissertation at UEA and it was long-listed for the Kings Cross New Writing award. Uncle William’s House, was commissioned for BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Man in Black series introduced by Mark Gattiss. Other work includes 50/50, a stage play commissioned by international company, Theatre Science; The Three lives of Anna Thomasian (Norwich Puppet Theatre) and the community play, Gerald.
