Hatchings...

Welcome to the ‘hatchings’ blog and website for egg box publishing. These are the beginnings of our new site and we’ll be adding things as we go over the next few months. Don’t forget to sign up to our mailing list to receive updates, information and offers. And keep your eye out for the RSS feed, once we get it up and running.

Donjong Heights Review...

Donjong Heights has been given a rave review in Time Out London. Toby Litt says: "equipped with the kind of verbal chutzpah that Paul Muldoon half-inched from Auden, and Auden nabbed from Byron, Ben Borek has a contemporary flow all his own. At one point he protests 'I know that I'm no Martin Amis', but there's something of London Fields in Borek's mix of the demotic and hieratic. This is a truly fantastic, and wholly unexpected, London book." in this way, Litt clearly reveals himself to be a man possessed of extremely good taste and considerable powers of discernment.
