Welcome to the ‘hatchings’ blog and website for egg box publishing. These are the beginnings of our new site and we’ll be adding things as we go over the next few months. This will still be where we talk about and sell egg box books, but there’ll eventually be a few other things to do. Something is Hatching...

Donjong Heights Update...
The third print run of Donjong Heights by Ben Borek is finally here! Sorry about the delay. To all those who have been waiting patiently: your copies are on their way. Demand has been much higher than we could have predicted. This was mainly due to the fact that Toby Litt chose the book as one of his Christmas fiction picks for 2007 (alongside Don Delillo and A. L. Kennedy) on Radio4's 'open book'.

Donjong Heights has been given a rave review in Time Out London. Toby Litt says: "equipped with the kind of verbal chutzpah that Paul Muldoon half-inched from Auden, and Auden nabbed from Byron, Ben Borek has a contemporary flow all his own.
