New Writing

Lily Shahmoon is a prose writer and playwright based in London. She has completed both the Faber Academy Writing A Novel course, as well as her MA in Prose at UEA, during which time she has written three novels. As a playwright, she has attended the Royal Court’s Introductory Writer’s Group, and her play Lipstick debuted at the Southwark Playhouse in March 2020, which the Stage called ‘fizzy and delightful’ and gave four stars. Lily is interested in character driven, intimate stories, and looking at the world we know in a new way.
